Video Links:

New for 2007, we are posting video of Longacres horses and riders online. For the time being we are using "YouTube", which is a popular easy to use video hosting site. But the quality of YouTube video is not great. They compress video that is submitted and it loses quality. We're beginning to also post some of the video on another hosting service, "Revver.com". Revver compresses less, and gives you the option of downloading a much larger video file in Quicktime format that is much higher quality.

NEW video quality experiment:

We have two different copies of the "Peyton and Brownie" video posted on different video hosting services and we'd like to have you try them all and email us to say which was the clearest, best video. Also, were any of them too slow to download? Which was easiest to use?

Peyton & "Brownie": YOUTUBE - GOOGLE VIDEO - - Peyton was one of the great success stories at Longacres in 2006. She came as a first time student in June because she "wanted to learn to ride". And we mean LEARN TO RIDE. Peyton had never ridden before coming to Longacres, but in just seven weeks of riding five hours a day at Longacres, Peyton progressed to the point you see her in this video. Peyton successfully completed the difficult Jumper Derby course, winning the Beginner Derby Championship Cooler! Below: Peyton and Brownie on "Revver"

Above: Jenn & "ShaBang": - Jenn had many good rides showing ShaBang during the 2006 summer show series. This was probably her best effort in a big important class. Here she is riding in the High Section of the Bold Jumper Derby at Longacres. It was a tough course and she took third place with this fine ride!

Above: Robyn & "Patti": - Robyn made great progress as a jumper rider during her short month stay at Longacres in August of 2006. It all came together at the "A" rated Erie County Fair three day show, where Robyn rode several horses in different divisions. She won a Championship on "Quantum Leap" and Reserve Jumper Champion on "Peppermint Patti". The picture showing Robyn holding both of her winning horses is on the top of our "Latest News" webpage. This clip is of the Jump-off round in one of Robyn's wins on Patti!

Above: Danielle & "Quantum": - Danielle got better and better as she trained and rode Quantum during the second session in 2006. Here she rides "Quantum" to a clean round in the 3' section of the Derby and puts in a very quick jump-off round with one rail down to take 2nd place.

"Star" & "Kingsley": CLICK HERE - This is a very short clip showing Alexa riding "Star" and Becka riding "Kingsley" over a couple of jumps each in the hunter ring at Erie County Fair in 2006.

Shelley and "Devil Horns": CLICK HERE - Shelley was the most successful show rider at Longacres during the 2006 season riding her own horse, "Devil Horns". This clip shows Shelley riding at a Longacres show early in the summer of 2006.
