Several million viewers have seen the video clip of the above Puddle Jumper wreck, shown on various national reality TV shows and local newscasts! End over end 3 times! The driver walked away with a slight cut.

Directions to all tracks are listed below - scroll through for this week's race:

Freedom Raceway

From Buffalo take NY #16 south to rte #39 and turn left onto #39. Rte #39 is Main Street in Arcade. Watch for a Sunoco on one corner and a Keystone gas station on the opposite. Turn right at this intersection onto Bixby Hill Road. Follow Bixby Hill about three miles out of town to the track.

From Central New York take the southern tier expressway to the Angelica Exit and turn right (north) on NY #19. Follow #19 to #243. Turn left onto #243 and follow - it will become #98 in Farmersville; continue on #98 into Arcade and turn left on #39. Watch for Bixby Hill Road on the left.

 

"The Bump"

The "Bump" track is located just off NY#79 in Slaterville, NY. From Syracuse or Binghamton, take I-81 to the NY #79 exit in Whitney Point. Then take 79 west for about 20 miles until you see the sign for Slaterville. Watch for Buffalo Road on your left - it will be a few hundred yards before a convenience store and gas station on your right. Turn left on Buffalo road and go about two miles up a long hill. Then watch for the "Mud Race" signs on your right.

Coming from Ithaca, take 79 east and watch for the Slaterville sign; then watch for the convenience store on the left and then Buffalo Road on your right.

Van Etten - New Track at the Shoe Inn (Town Line Raceway)

Take #13 south from Ithaca towards Elmira, or #13 north from Elmira towards Ithaca. A few miles north of Elmira, turn east onto #224 towards Van Etten. Watch for the "Zippin" convenience store on your right. Continue on #224 past the Zippin store for about a mile and watch for the mud race track at the Shoe Inn on your right.

Genessee Fair - Batavia exit off thruway, then #98 south to rte #5; then #5 east for several miles where fairgrounds will be on the right just out of town.

Cattaraugus Fairgrounds:

#219 to Ellicotteville, then #242 over the hill 8 miles west to Little Valley - Fairgrounds is on the west side of town. Or southern tier expressway to Salamanca, then #353 north 6 miles to Little Valley.

Thunder Mountain:

Thunder Mountain is just off Ny #79 about 7 miles west of I-81 (20 miles north of Binghamton, NY). From Ithaca, NY take #79 East for about 25 miles. From Syracuse or Binghamton, take the Whitney Point exit off I-81 for #79. When you are about 7 miles west of I-81 on #79, you will clearly see the Thunder Mountain Speedway sign by the side of the road. Follow the signs to the track.

 

 Kane
To get to the Kane track from New York State, take US #219 south into Pennsylvania, through Bradford, then continue sout of Bradford for about 14 miles until you get to US #6. Turn west on US #6 and go about 12 miles to Kane. Go right through the city of Kane and continue out US #6 about a mile west of Kane. You will pass the hospital on your left. The sign for the track will be just past the hospital on your right. Turn onto Northwest Road and the track is there at Northwest Territories, which includes a repair shop and wrecking yard.

From central Pennyslvania, take #219 north until you hit US #6 and then take #6 west as above. .

Muddy Acres -
Muddy Acres is in the small town of Mecklinberg, right on New York Rte # 79 half way between Watkins Glen and Ithaca. Take Rte's #14 or #79 into Watkins Glen and then take #79 East from Watkins Glen for about 14 miles. Go through the little village of Mecklinberg and watch on the left (north) side of #79 for the Muddy Acres sign. The track is right on Rte #79, you don't even have to go down a side road! From Ithaca, take #79 west for about ten miles and watch for the Muddy Acres sign on your right.

From the New York State thruway, take the Geneva or Waterloo exits and then follow NY #96 south to Trumansburg. Just as you get into Trumansburg, bear right on NY #227 and follow for about 6 miles until that rte turns sharp right to go to Watkins Glen. You will then go straight on Rte #228 to the village of Mecklinberg where it meets NY #79. Turn left on #79 and the track will be two miles up on your left.
